Seriously, Caitlin didn't know Megan was that tough. Nor had she thought of her that close, before. Maybe she'd changed. Maybe this was the Megan she'd always wanted to know. Maybe she always had been her best friend.
Of course, the night the thing happened with Derrick out in the parking lot, Caitlin had been pretty much in shock. She wasn't sure how she really felt. Just numb. The shock of the whole thing had left her not wanting to say a thing. She was just happy nothing seriously had happened bad. But then she had a melt down later with Megan. About how could she have let her self get into this mess with Derrick.
"I didn't know. I didn't." She said over and over. She wished she'd never spent one moment with Derrick now.
"Maybe, this needed to happen so you'd appreciate Zeke. He's a good guy, and..and sometimes, we just don't think we deserve a good guy." Megan told her that night.
Caitlin found herself smiling at the thought now. Days later, back at her room. She did want to be with Zeke.
"You think we'll find a place, where we can all be together?" Caitin wondered.
"God, lets hope all four us, aren't in one room." Megan smirked.
"No, you know what I mean." Caitlin rolled her eyes.
"Didn't Zeke say he'd seen a flyer somewhere about, you know, needing roommates?" Megan just got back to the room, doing her and Smed's laundry.
"We could always try Craig's List." Caitlin mentioned.
"Lets not." Megan gave her a grin then. "I'm sure something will show up and as soon as we can get this all sorted, the sooner we can get on with things."
Caitlin hoped one of those things would mean a new job. She definitely didn't want to be working with Derrick, again.
