Caitlin could hardly stand to see Derrick with Sammi.
How could she be so nice to him? After all he'd put her through. Caitlin was ready to barrel into the middle of whatever was going on here.
"Hold on." Zeke grabbed her hand before Caitlin could make a scene. "I think she's got him right where she wants him. Groveling." Zeke spoke softly as he got her into the kitchen to help him with some microwave popcorn.
"How are you sure of that?" She thought Derrick needed to be hurt, or something.
"Oh, Sammi has a way. She does. She might not act like she knows what she's doing, but I kind of think she does." Zeke almost winked at Caitlin as he punch in the time for the popcorn and turned on the microwave. "Just let her do her magic. For all we know she might be telling him off right now."
"Lets hope." Caitlin frowned. She wouldn't be all that happy if Derrick were around. She didn't even want to speak to him as it was.
He poured the popcorn in a bowl then and she grabbed the diet sodas. They went back to the livingroom to see what was up between those two on the couch.
"Derrick say's he'd love to supply the turkey for Thanksgiving." Sammi said with a smile.
"Yeah, of course." He winced. "I'll just bring it over and ..and I'll cook dinner." He looked a bit shakey about the job.
Caitlin didn't look to happy about this. She rolled her eyes and looked a Zeke who just popped a soda can and took a sip. Naturally, she had to listen to him make small talk with Derrick. Caitlin thought she might be sick.
"Don't you think we should play Monopoly?" Sammi smiled then. Caitlin gave her a strange look that she must be crazy. Then she looked at Zeke. Evidently, someone was trying to bore Derrick to death.
