"Excuse me?" Logan looked at that familiar girl who was edging in her netbook in his territory at the library table, hidden among the philosophy stacks at the campus library.
It was like she didn't hear him at all. She was sitting right next to him. He tried not to wince as he went back to reading. He would act as if she weren't there. Right away, she was typing on something. He gave her an odd look. She knew he was looking. But she didn't smile. She just kept clicking away.
Logan gave her a heavy sigh. He did his best to look down, but it was hard. She was driving him insane. And that perfume. Stung him into some oblivion he was not anticipating. He didn't know if he were getting giddy or drunk.
Logan nursed the corner of his bottom lip, a little. Finally, he stared at her.
"What?" She caught his gaze then. She did not make this easy.
"Nothing." What had made his face flush seconds earlier, now made him feel of ice.
She kicked him in the shins then.
"OW!" He had no idea his voice could go like that.
Naturally, he got shushed from all sides then. Logan winced. College wasn't all it was cracked up to be.
