party over

"Just listen to me, please." Megan spent the night in Caitlin's room just to make sure she didn't do any other strange things.

Naturally, the next morning Caitlin was spazing over last night which of course, Megan had to tell her all about, because Caitlin had no memory of it.

"WHAT! NO. I was not even drunk last night." Caitlin squinted.

"But you were. You got hammered." Megan brought her cold cereal, but Caitlin snarled her nose up at that. "Sauced. You were like..some other Caitlin."

"Oh, God. Well, is Logan OK?" Caitlin fell back on her pillow. She then acted like hair might be on her tongue. Yeah, she was getting sick.

"Yeah. He's good." Megan shrugged eating the cereal herself, then.

"Noel. Now that guy was a goner. What happened to him?" Caitlin looked at Megan who was standing here chowing on breakfast.

"Cho got him off Sammi and got him to drink some coffee. He took him home." Megan sighed.

"Cho?" Caitlin shook her head as if she didn't know that guy. "GOD." Caitlin squinted hard. "You can't tell Zeke or Smed, any of this."

"What, that you tried to get into Logan's pants in the bathroom." Megan smiled slyly.

"I don't want to even think about it." Caitlin hugged herself then.

"Look, it was the worst party ever." Megan rolled her eyes. "We are just not good at this. First of all. There weren't enough people."

"I knew we shouldn't have had the party. I don't know why you had to have one." Caitlin rolled away from Megan then and hid in the covers.

"We should have one, at least this summer. We could use the pool then." Megan thought if she had months to plan it, then it would have to be great. It would just have to be.

I never like parties, just like to spend my time alone drawing or reading.

Parties so often lead to bad behavior. I hope she doesn't beat herself up over this. :/

Oh, dear -- I feel like this kind of thing is honestly inevitable at parties.
