"Just what is your problem?" Noel grabbed Logan's shoulder before he said anything else that was more obvious to him that he didn't want him seeing Sammi. After all, he'd informed then that Sammi might be coming down with something. She didn't look well.
"She told me she was sick." Logan looked him in the eye there in the lean hallway where the bathroom's were a the pizza place. He was sticking to his story.
"Oh, really." Noel kept glareing. He was barely an inch taller than his brother now. As luck would have it, his baby brother would probably be taller than he was.
"You're in love her, aren't you?" Noel got it. He was fond of the blond. But he was such a sissy about it. Now leading this other girl on, who was too sweet for words.
"I dunno." Logan was being his usual pessimistic self.
"Perhaps you two belong to each other. You are just as sad as she is." He seethed wanting to hit his brother but he didn't. Just then, he noticed no one was at their table. He took a run for the table then and the waiter told him that the girls had left.
"That's just great. Just great." Noel was more than just disgruntled. He looked back at Logan who was his indifferent self.
