"Whats up?" Sammi opened her door wanting to yell, but there was Caitlin and Natalie. Lyle was in her room, but he had books. Still, she wasn't that fond of sharing him with anyone. She shut the door behind her and stood in the hall with them. Honestly, Natalie was the last person she expected to see. It actually kind of freaked her so Sammi wasn't sure what to say.
"I..I have this friend, who really needs a place to stay. Its just, he doesn't have a job. He could even sleep on the couch." Natalie bit her bottom lip. She started to fidget.
Sammi didn't want to make her nervous.
"We've got plenty of rooms still." Sammi assured her he wouldn't have to sleep on their couch. She sounded as if it wouldn't be a problem. It was just, she had no idea if anything was presentable enough. They'd need to wash sheets and that kind of thing.
"I wish he had a job." Natalie forked over a couple of twenties as if it were something very short termed.
"Keep your money. We'll work it out." Sammi did her best to be easy going.
"But..he's.." Natalie sighed. "He might not clean up after himself. I dunno, really."
"You need to be studying, don't you?" Sammi figured out what her real worry was.
"Yes." Natalie's face tensed.
"Don't worry about him, we'll take good care of him." Sammi found herself saying even if she hadn't met him. He couldn't be that bad. After all, he was Natalie's friend.
