Megan wanted to sound a bit woeful, as if she was really glad that Caitlin took the time to call her these days. But, it wasn't so bad here. She couldn't admit it, just yet, but she was glad to have Becca around. She was like a big sister, and she did know some cool hangouts. In fact, they were going to yoga each morning now at six in the morning sharp. But did Caitlin really need to know this?
"Well, I hope Hattie's not pregnant." Megan added as she had to wonder now if her own baby would come early. Honestly, the yoga was helping. And it was great to be with someone who knew the right places to go and where not to go. She liked having Becca as her guide. "We might be moving." Megan guessed it was true.
"Not overseas." Caitlin sounded as if that would be horrible. "They wouldn't let you, anyway."
"No, silly." Megan laughed softly over the phone, as she looked around their its-bity space. "We need more room." She sighed. It would be amazing to have more than a room. She missed having a livingroom. Besides, she felt this place was always a mess, even if they didn't have much.
Caitlin was still pretty tight lipped about Gavin.
"So..you and Gavin.." Megan was hoping Caitlin would fill in the blanks.
"He's working. A lot. I am too." Caitlin sounded so boring.
"Well..of course, we are worried about Hattie and Timo. They went to get her stuff. She's still sick." Caitlin told her.
"Right." Megan didn't want to think about being sick. She had been really healthy the last few months. About then, Derrick came home. As soon as he shut the door, he sneezed.
Megan scrunched her nose in disgust. Just her luck, Derrick had caught a bug of some kind.
