 "Whatever you do, don't let him sleep on his back," the very words Melvin heard the nurse tell Wade who was handed over the prescription to give Melvin.

Yes, Melvin tested positive, but Wade didn't when they took the test at Urgent Care. Of course, Melvin could barely speak, his eyes were tired and his head throbbed, or was it his throat? 

They weren't going to keep him. They were sending him home.

"How can they do this to me?" Melvin managed to ask Wade as they were leaving.

"You're not that bad off," Wade told him. He could still walk. Wade said he would get some other meds at the drugstore. He was confident Melvin would be fine, but Melvin didn't feel well as the cold chills set in and he could hardly stand the way he wanted.

He felt so bad and bad for anyone he'd been in contact with, but of course, he felt a simmering fire in his throat, and being so congested didn't help either.

As soon as they got home Wade pushed him into bathroom to shower. He said he wouldn't touch him, but he took his clothes and put them in the washing machine. By the time Melvin was done, his bed was with fresh sheets and he knew Wade must have cleaned the place because all his dirty clothes were picked up 

"Oh my god, you made my room into a hotel," Melvin shivered with a yawn. 

Wade gave him the meds and told him to go to bed. He told him he'd bring mint tea in a little while.

Melvin only nodded, wanting Wade to go home, but he didn't have a home. Melvin finally got into bed and thought again what the nurse said. Of course, he was laying on his back so he turned to his side. First to his left then finally to his right. 

He closed his eyes and the first person he thought of was Tori. He hoped she was all right. He would hate to have given COVID to her, but what if he had?
