You are entirely up to You

 Tori knew this was getting old and she felt ancient. She wanted to blame her aches and pain on the bed, maybe even Frankie, but he didn't sleep with her. He'd slept on the floor in a sleeping bag.

She'd been restless, thinking she was cold and she was the worst. Why hadn't she been more receptive?

It was as if she was fighting with herself more than him. She knew he would always want to take care of her, but she was certain she wasn't worthy.

Although, she'd been with him before he left (Last year or was that two years ago now?) and it only hurt worse. Thinking why did she waste so much time not wanting to be with him. She would have never thought of it then as a one night stand. But they weren't exactly the most romantics even in a romantic world.

Frankie made her tea now as she sat at the edge of the bed with a blanket over her head as if she might be that nun he always laughed about. Still, she wasn't sure if she fit into his life. Opportunites were coming to him and she was afraid she would only bring him down.

"Well, I wouldn't have come if it weren't for you," he said.

Tori tried to smile, but she only wanted to melt into tears. She did want to be happy, but would she be happy with Frankie?

Oh, they'd been timid and laughed at each other back then. Funny, she hadn't been drunk only intoxicated on music and feeling he was the only dance partner she ever needed. Although, she never really intended to dance again nor even see him. 

She wondered if these were the thoughts some had when they knew life was near the end in wars and violent times. Was it just a little sacrifice or was it truly love? 

"Go on, shower, you might feel better," he told her. "I'll take you out for breakfast. You can even come to see where I live."

Tori looked at him as if he truly was her future. She needed to realise that.
