Where the boys are

 

Kyle wasn't so sure he could stand to be alone with Megan. He kind of thought she might be crazy. She always looked at him with a wild look, or was she about to cry.

"I dunno, man." Kyle couldn't explain it to Roman. "I just want us to hang out. You know, while her boyfriend is at work." 

"uh-huh." Roman shot Kyle a look as if he might be barking up the wrong tree. After all, he lived with some pregnant girl who always wanted him home.

"It'll be fun," Kyle said there would be pizza and when was the last time he'd played Animal Crossings.

"Like never, man." Roman said he only played CALL OF DUTY. According to him, Animal Crossings was for girls.

"Well, my little sister plays it. It's the only way we keep in touch," Kyle couldn't help being a good brother.

Roman said he'd come over, but only if they could play CALL OF DUTY.

"Fine."

So as soon as he got home he called to get some pizza delivered, but not from Melvin's. He didn't care for the pizza there. Hopefully, no one would ask him about it. Besides, everyone was in their room. Maybe he would not see Megan at all. But sure enough, she came out of her room in her yoga outfit that looked more like something experts were to only wear. 

His eyes lit. No one dressed quite that sensuous where he grew up. He cleared his throat, wanting to tell her to get some clothes on. She gave him the eye, as not to look at her. He hurried to his room to hide.

"Honestly, I just don't know if I can live here," he told Roman later when the pizza arrived and Roman had the gaming system set up on Kyle's flat screen.

"Hey, what's so bad about being around hot babes?" Roman didn't get him. He'd already checked out Kyle's other roommate. He thought she was hot. "And she's going to have a baby?"

Roman didn't find anything wrong with that. Before Kyle knew it, the pepperoni pizza was gone. Roman had a mighty appetite.

Kyle sighed, he didn't have the funds for his pal. Besides, Roman liked beer too.
