Warming up to winter and it's little secrets

 

"Well, finally somebody is gonna make an honest woman out of you yet," Bea smiled when she listened to Andie about Teegan moving in. Naturally, Andie was in a pout as if she might be a little miserable.

"Oh, you can be happy, my friend." Bea kept smiling.

"Why are you so happy lately?" They'd changed out of their scrubs and were on their way home.

"Oh, I don't really know." Bea almost winked.

"I think you do," Andie smirked. "You think that flower boy of yours could handle a couple like Teegan and me."

Bea couldn't help but laugh. "What does that mean?"

"Well, you know how Teegan likes to cook," Andie sighed with a shrug.

"Of course, we'd come over," Bea nodded as she hugged herself. "I just don't know if this is the right time, though."

"What do you mean?" Andie winced.

"We have to stay safe these days. So I am not one to be socializing," she mentioned Tori's baby then. "Lord, there were probably too many people in the room, but he's a strong kid."

"Oh, that one," Andie remembered. "There's no way in hell that baby is Dylan's." 

"What?"

Andie was suddenly closed lipped as if she hadn't meant to say such a thing. "Forget I said that."

"What are you trying to tell me?" Bea wanted to know.

"Dylan ...is trans." Andie cleared her throat.

"What?" Bea winced even harder. For a moment she felt as if she might pass out, or maybe just a weak heart. Of course, Andie had no idea who might be Soren's father.
