friends needing friends

 "I'm beginning to think you don't want us to be together," Bea's words still gave Frankie an ache. Yes, she'd spoken up when he least expected it about Andie and Dr. Alvarez. He guessed it was good they'd talked. Cleared the air, but he still felt as if he was in the doghouse, even if he was trying to tidy up for Megan's wedding shower.

Of course, they (Frankie & Bea) were still together. That had not changed. Especially, when there were plenty of good things happening. He just hoped she wouldn't hang this over his head if by chance they had a disagreement about something. But they never did. They were happy. He knew it. He guessed he was worried for nothing. 

"Well, you better behave," was all Tori had to say when she was here earlier bringing cupcakes and finger foods for the party.

"Why would you even..." he didn't know what she was going on about.

"You and Bea are very good for each other. I would make something sweet if I were you," she smirked. 

Frankie only sighed. "Have you been talking to Bea?"

"Of course, I have." She looked at him out of the corner of her eye as she went to tend to the paper plates and cups for the party. 

"You two talk?" He'd never thought to ask Bea.

"Well, I have to have someone to talk to Soren about and she doesn't seem to mind," Tori told him. "And then we talk about you."

"Why?" He winced thinking was his relationship under a microscope or something?

"Because I'm her friend, and that's what friends do." End of story. Frankie left it at that. 

Frankie winced now, wondering if he had friends like that. He didn't seem to think so, but his cell beeped in his back pocket. It was Eddie telling him he and Roman were on their way to set up chairs and tables. They were bringing party favors and of course decorations.

Frankie let out a sigh. Yes, it was good to have the help. Really, he wasn't sure if he had any idea how to have a wedding shower.
