Through the epic unconcious stance

 

"This is exciting news!" Ari shouted with glee over the phone with Pan. Suddenly, it felt great that he was one of the first that he called about the news of finding his brother Gabe.

Of course, Jade looked at him as if he must have won the lottery. She went back to chopping veg for dinner. 

"What are you going to do?" Ari asked. Pan said his mother was there, which was kind of strange and very emotional. He said Gabe was staying with their Dad's brother. 

"Wow, that is so crazy," Ari sighed with open eyes. He nursed his bottom lip for a moment and then said what was on his mind. "Hey, how about Gabe moves in across the hall from you. Wouldn't that be fantastic?"

From what Pan said about Gabe, he knew he wouldn't live with their mother but was looking for his own place.

"I..I don't know." Pan sighed as if that would just be unthinkable.

"From what I hear, Mona is moving in with Nic and well, um.." He smiled looking at Jade. "I know Jade would really love to help you guys out, since you know, you need to get to know each other, again. And..and I would help out with the rent for next month..if..if that would help."

"I.." Pan laughed. "I would have to talk to Gabe. I just don't know what he would think of the idea."

"Well, it'll give you guys something to talk about," Ari left it at that and said goodbye for now.

"What did you just do?" Jade shot him a look as if he'd done the unthinkable.

"Pan found his brother," Ari told her. "Isn't that great?"

She only sighed. He went back to the sliced beef ready to saute.

"Look, you know what Mona wants."

"I know what you want." She swelled a frown as she gave him the eye. He only squinted back.

"It'll be fine. The time is right. And if we can help out Pan's brother that's a plus too." He watched the meat sizzle.

She remained even-lipped and finally gave him a nod.

"It's almost summer, you know," Ari said with a sly grin. "Just think of the places we can go, and we both have a home to come back to, together."
