You were always on my mind

 

Caitlin couldn't believe her eyes. Was that really Wade she just saw? Or just his twin sister?

She was on her lunch break, trying to choke down a dry sandwich that Deano didn't make. He didn't make her lunches like he used to. He had his hands full with Hannah. 

At the moment, Caitlin was trying to enjoy the sunshine at the park. But the wind was blowing and she almost felt teary-eyed being outside. But she was doing her best to be a better person.

Of course, she was still put out with Pan. How dare he be in the hospital all those days. He should have been investigating Wade. She'd done her best to give him hints on what to do, but Pan was not as smart as she thought he was. 

Now was her chance to face Wade head-on. And she did like a bird flying to her prey.

"Wade! What are you trying to prove!" She circled this person as if she knew exactly what was going on. He was just incognito. "You're giving Nonbinary a bad name!"

Of course, this Wade dressed like a woman looked at her puzzled. Yes, she was certain Wade would not come clean.

But she had to get this out. Even if she might be a crazy woman at the park.

"How could you!" She winced. "Haven't you ever wondered what happened to Tori and your baby?" Caitlin swelled a frown. Naturally, he/she didn't say a thing. "So this is what you do now. Hiding in plain sight, evidently. I guess you don't even care what you did to Melvin, either." She squinted hard. 

"I have no idea what you're talking about lady," this person yelped back. Oh, Wade would say that. He was never a problem. Just a solo act, Caitlin imagined.

"You are the worst human on earth." Caitlin came very close to poking her index finger into his chest. Of course, she wondered if those breasts were real. Just what kind of identity change was this? She took a step back. 

She would never get the justice she was looking for, but she could at least let Wade know, she was on to him.
