It's so good to be home

 

Drew arrived with a tub of barbecued ribs and sides of potato salad and coleslaw. Suddenly, Caitlin wasn't sure she could take her eyes off of him. He was a looker. Downright pretty with a killer smile.

This was Deano's brother? How could it be? They looked nothing alike, but Drew was friendly and shook Caitlin's hand as if he was happy she was with his brother. Naturally, he did a little of a play fight with Deano as if they were the best of friends. Drew had Deano in a headlock in no time.

Deano smiled, but she knew he could only take so much of his older brother. Evidently, his brother did a lot of things for him. Like, help with rent and his little white jeep which Deano never drove unless he had to.

Drew admired the bed since it was in full view. "Have you two tried it out yet?" He looked at Caitlin then Deano. Caitlin looked over at Deano wondering what had he told his brother about her.

Drew laughed more as if he shouldn't have asked.

"Oh we will," she gave Drew a naughty look. Perhaps, Deano was no pretty boy like his brother but he was very capable of satisfying her. Even she didn't know how that was possible.

Deano put more mac and cheese he'd made on her paper plate since she didn't eat potato salad, but she bit into the rib as if she was a maneater after all.

Deano only sighed and pushed his fingers through his hair. She knew she was making him nervous.

Drew kept smiling and eating. She found out he had never dated anyone. He was much too busy with his career in banking. And now, well, it was just too late according to him. 

"Well, if my boss wasn't dating this guy now, I'm sure you might like her. She's really sexy," Caitlin nodded.

Drew almost choked on a rib. Deano went to get him some water. Finally, Deano got around to opening cans of BLUE MOON that his brother brought. They chilled for an hour or so before Drew left with the coffee canister of pot.
