Waiting for the good stuff

 "Did you have sex with her?" Deano had to ask in the facetime chat. After all, Levi was his friend. Of course, he wanted to give him a mouthful during their chat. These days, he thought it was necessary to be COVID tested before proceeding in anything. Of course, Levi begged to differ. He felt fine. 

"So what if I did?"

"You did?" Deano was shocked. In his mind, Levi was still supposed to be with Roman, and damn if this Carly didn't remind him of Roman, somehow. Was he just seeing things?

Actually, he was beginning to think Levi was just strange. He didn't get him at all, and here he'd known him for some time. Lord, he hoped he didn't ask him again to start a band with him.

"He's got to find his own path," Caitlin told him he was worried for nothing after the chat was over. She bet Carly was a nice person. It sounded that way to her. Why was he worried? Naturally, she was just in her undies dancing around as if this was a pajama party instead of quarantine.

"He just..you know..he's not one to hook up with strangers, you know?" Deano was still in shock even if he was tired and foggy-headed. 

That's when the groceries arrived from Mario.

"Oh, my god, she did make me a cheeseball!" Caitlin was so excited. It was the first thing she couldn't wait to get to.

Naturally, it felt like Christmas in January. Deano waited for her to get into the cheeseball with what crackers they might have still around. It was then after a good fifteen minutes he realized she was not going to put away what Mario brought so Deano went and put the milk and eggs in the fridge.

"God, I love Bren so much!" Caitlin kept snacking as if she was the cheeseball beast.

"Seriously?" Honestly, Deano didn't understand her enthusiasm. "There is more to Bren than just her cheeseballs."

Caitlin laughed out loud.

Deano's arms ached just from lifting the milk into the fridge and the canned goods to the kitchen cabinet. It was time for him to go back to bed. He wasn't completely well.
