Just a little chat

 Roman guessed LaLa wasn't mad at him after all.

The night he brought Pixie home, she yelled at him. He was certain Pixie would wake up and run away, but it didn't seem to bother her.

Naturally, LaLa laid into him about what an awful person he was. Just bringing home anything and everyone. Just what sort of fellow was he?

As usual, he kept quiet so she could have her piece. All along she kept leading him to believe he was terrible. Just terrible to live with.

Of course, they made up and now he wondered if she even thought about how mad she was. But he wasn't going to mention it. He was smart enough to know better. 

"Aw, that's sweet that you made up," Pixie kept smiling as if she was glad LaLa didn't hurt him. Things were quiet at the coffee shop now so they could eat a muffin and have some coffee. "Sounds like makeup sex in the best."

"Well..." Roman sipped his coffee and thought it better not to discuss this with Pixie. Although, she was in her own little world as if everything was cozy and she kept saying to everyone who came in, "It's Fall yall!"

Roman winced, he'd hate to see her when she was blue. God knows, how awful that might be.

"What's up with you? Something going on?" He went to wipe down the counter as it was constantly disinfected these days.

"No." Pixie shook her head as if she hadn't a clue what he meant.

"Come on girl, just say it."

She took a deep breath as she swirled her hair around her finger while in thought.

"Well, you know, I've had lots of boyfriends."

"Uh-huh." Roman was getting sleepy just listening to her.

She then smiled.

"But you know, I never felt like this before," Pixe almost giggled as she leaned against the counter.

"And what that might be?" Roman smiled back thinking for sure she would tell him she got a cat or something.

"Oh, it's hard to explain," She winced then, and looked away. "It's Cyrus."

"Cyrus? What about Cyrus?" He leaned toward her as he drank his coffee.

"Um, I dunno." She tilted her head back as her long neck curved ever so sensually. "Everything is better with Cyrus."

"Well-"

"Listen," she pointed her finger at him then. "Don't you go telling me I'm not to see him, cause..cause that just makes me want to see him more!" She gave him a stern look.

"Why would I say something like that?" He went to freshen his coffee and hers too.

"Everybody else is telling me to stay away from him." She was even lipped then.

"Everybody?" Roman winced hard.

"My roommate and ..and that Cori, why does he always have to be around?" She frowned then as if he was the worst.

"Just what have you and Cyrus been doing?" Roman tilted his head, trying to get this right. "Maybe they know something you don't."

"Like what?" She looked at him as if she'd never thought that far ahead.
