Where does the time go

 Sammie went straight to her room when she got the text from Gabe. Honestly, she thought he was kidding, like she'd never hear from him when he promised he would text her. She thought he was kind of crazy, but then again he was Diago's cousin.

She looked at his text. WHEN WILL I SEE YOU AGAIN. I CAN'T STAND THIS JOB.

It only made her smile, but she told him things weren't that great for her either, as she got comfortable on her bed.

"What do you mean?" Gabe wanted to know.

"Oh you know, just playing second fiddle," she shot back.

"Second fiddle?" He pushed right back as if to fill him in.

"I don't like my brother's other little sister," she was honest. There she'd said what was on her mind. How could he compare the two of them? She was a much nicer person than this Caitlin. Hadn't Mario figured that out yet?

Still, she guessed she'd never be as close to him as he was to Caitlin. Still, Caitlin wasn't that sweet. She didn't even like her baby.

"Something is wrong with her," she texted Gabe.

"What kind of wrong?"

"She's just weird. She treats her hubby like shit. I dunno why he's even with her," Sammie said. "I'd never treat my man like that."

"Oh really?" Of course, he sent her a smiley face too. Sammie couldn't help but smile. "Am I your man?"

She laughed out loud then and fell back on her bed as if she was ready to float into her own ocean of love.

"We will just have to see." She texted back, thinking he was full of it. 

"When?" He wanted to know.

"I'll just sneak out tonight," she dared him.

"I'm working."

"Of course, you are." Yeap, another dead end. Just like Sammie expected.

"I promise, we'll go out soon," Gabe told her. She pressed her lips tight. She wished she could believe him.
