While Holden was possibly having the most fantastic time of his life at Dora's, Tristan was with Delia/Dale. Everybody called her Dale at the apartment. Maybe one day he'd call her Dil, just not yet.
He got her to look over a paper he was working on for a class. He just didn't trust the auto-grammar on his laptop. "You've got great eyes," he told Delia.
She didn't say no. Besides, Nic and Mona were here too. And he was certain he'd hear some noises he didn't want to hear coming from Nic's room. And he did, so he stoped Delia half-way through the monotony of Why Gorillas really don't like being alone and gave her shoulders a good kneading with his steady hands. Just as he suspected, maybe she'd fall asleep. She was like a rag doll, even in nerdy glasses.
"It's fine, I'm sure it's fine," he smiled. "I don't want to make you think you're my assistant or something."
She sighed, taking off her glasses, but wasn't that discontent.
He guessed it was really happening. Mona and Nic were a real couple. Suddenly, Tristan found himself leaning in, thinking Nic would do that, wouldn't he? He kissed Delia as if he were on autopilot or just channeling what they might be doing at the moment. Perhaps, it was the thought of how it was when he kissed Mona. Yet Delia didn't kiss back like Mona did.
Really, it was totally different. But not bad. He kissed her back as if this time, he knew who he was kissing. He wasn't just going through the motions. They weren't far from his bed and it felt so fluid and like a piece of his life that was missing was whole again.
He touched her neck. Her hands found his abs and knew exactly where this was going. The kisses went deeper. There was no lapse to wonder what was going on in Nic's room nor anywhere else. It was a jolt of reality falling into the unconscious realm of passion.
She was a heat-seeking missile without any second guessing. Before he knew it, she'd undressed him and now she was peeling off her top. Tristan didn't know why he was letting it happen. He'd just have to see this through. It wasn't like she could go home. But....
Actually, she was all over the place as she straddled him. And he was letting it happen. Had she drunk a bottle of vodka when he didn't know? Was she.... seriously going to go there with her mouth? He winced. Her hand was already there.
Man, she was fast. Who had she been with? Wait, he didn't really want to know as he took a deep breath. It was going to be a long night. He could already feel it in his bones.
Very interesting ๐

ReplyDeleteUy que rรกpidos. Sensual fragmento te mando un beso.
ReplyDeleteSo, Tristan and Delia! I was a little surprised by how surprised Tristan was by it all, but then again, his thoughts revealed that he's still a little hung up on Mona. Maybe being with Delia will help him forget. I love the tie-in between Tristan's "Why Gorillas Really Don't Liking being Alone" paper and the Gorillaz tee in the collage. So clever! ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐
ReplyDeleteI loved the chapter. And I thought it was really interesting that she knows what she wants, and they go after it.
