 Wade didn't believe in Valentine's Day. What the hell had it ever given him? But then he didn't know Pan then. Of course, it wasn't going to be any exception this year either. Unless....

Yes, Pan told him everything about what that social work was up to. Was she just trying to make him a sociopath? 

"You did good bro," Wade just chucked with a pat giving him roomie a soft pat on the cheek. "Just leave the rest to me."

"But..but you don't know where she'd take something like that, do you?" Pan looked at him alarmed.

Wade just laughed. 

"Don't worry so much," Wade was cool. He worried all the time. Didn't know what that brother of his might be up to. Hell, it had been so long he wasn't sure what he looked like anymore. Of course, he could always look in the mirror.

He knew where to go. He'd planted eyes and ears to help him out from time to time. But why would she want his DNA?

"I think it has something to do with a friend of hers," Pan filled him in on her old roommate Tori.

"Well, obviously, she got around," Wade found it kind of funny.

"It was a date rape drug," Pan shrugged about the matter. 

Pan found steaks on sale and seared them on the stop top in garlic butter that night. It was a hungry man's dinner with loaded baked potatoes and salad on the side. Wade never expected a Valentine's Day quite as good.

"Her old roommate had a baby," Pan finally told him over a good cabernet sauvignon. Yes, it had been a night to remember. 

Wade didn't give the story much thought. His mind was only on one thing. And he knew where Caitlin worked.
