So, how is it Living Together?
CAM: It's been different since Kang left. (Cam sits at the dining table with a cup of coffee and some bagels).
SIOUXIE: Actually, it was never the same when Kang came home from Seoul. (Siouxie smiles as she cradles her cup).
CAM: Yeah, it was about time he moved out. Had a place of his own. I think he'll be OK. He only lives a few blocks from his daughter and my son. So he will be well fed. (Cam cracked a smile and took a sip of coffee).
SIOUXIE: But it's just the two of us now, and we share the house. I have my own room. My own bathroom. (She shrugs.) It's quieter now.
CAM: Yeah, you can't go wrong if you have your own room and especially your own bathroom. (He nods.)
SIOUXIE: Yeah, we're set in our ways. (Siouxie practically giggles as if it's an inside joke).
CAM: But we find things to do together.
SIOUXIE: He likes to cook more than I do. (Her mile is open as she brings the mug to her mouth)
CAM: She's still working. I have to do what I can. And I'm glad she likes my cooking. (He grins)
SIOUXIE: He does like to make it spicy. (She holds in a laugh)
CAM: Which reminds me, we've got the kids over tonight. Might be our last grilling of the summer.
SIOUXIE: Yes, that's what I love about being here. Family dinners. Seeing each other during the holidays.
CAM: Yeah, it's good to see the grandkids. And a new one on the way.
Siouxie reaches for Cam's hand then and he takes it. They smile at each other as if this living together is old news.
How nice
