Shakin' up the games played

 "They won't make a big deal, about it, will they?" Cyrus was getting nervous. Oh, they'd had months to prepare for this but he was a great procrastinator and Pixie wasn't any better. But now that people knew they were having a baby. He winced. Was it going to end now?

"Words aren't going to hurt us," she put her arm around him. They sat on the couch of their apartment as if this might be their last second of peace before Cori and Megan got there. Cyrus nodded but jumped up as soon as he heard someone at the door.

He didn't mean to panic, but somehow it felt like it was going to be the worst instead of the best. However, Megan brought muffins and Cori gave him a slap on the back.

"Does your family know?" Cori asked.

"Oh, well.." Pixie started. Of course, she hadn't told her parents. 

"I tried to tell my Uncle, but I don't know if..if he..you know, understood." Cyrus kept tripping over his own words. It hadn't been much better when he was on a video chat with the uncle back in New Jersey. "I mean, I know..we should..I mean could.."

"No..no..we can't." Pixie nixed the idea of going there. She was late in her pregnancy now.

"Well, it'll be fine," Cori was so cool about it and Megan was being a pillar of calmness as she went to sit with Pixie asking if she was feeling OK. If she needed anything.

"We are going to be OK," Cyrus announced. "We shouldn't be treated like children." He looked at them both as if he was much wiser than any of them knew. He just didn't act like it from time to time, but really he knew what was happening. It was time they stop treating him like an imbecile. At least, he had Pixie and that was all he really wanted.

"Have you guys thought of a name?" Megan asked as she looked at Cyrus and then Pixie.

Cyrus rose his hand as if he knew the answer. "I have." He nodded.

Pixie looked at him as if that was news to her.

"Blossom." He nodded.

"Blossom?" Pixie looked at him as if it were the worst ever name.

"Like the TV show," Cyrus explained. Cori and Megan nodded as if they knew what he was talking about while Pixie only grimaced. Cyrus sighed. "You know, she..she co-hosts Jeopardy. She will always be Blossom to me..and..I like the sound of it."

"The sound of it," he heard Megan repeat and even Pixie joined in. 

"How about you two get married first," Cori smiled as if he was here to sell them something. Pixie kind of smiled. "The best way to get this done right is being a family. And I know you both want that. I'm sure Blossom would want that too."

Cyrus tensed. "Do I have to dress up?"

"Maybe, we ..we could just get married in matching hoodies," Pixie suggested.

"A hoodie wedding," Megan said under her breath. "Well, why not." She gritted a smile.
