 "Is he coming?" Kang asked ever so endearing, it almost made Cam sad.

"I'm afraid not," Kim hadn't heard any news about Kang's son. 

the nose piece of the breathing tube dangled to one side of Kang's face. He was doing better, but occasionally he did need the breathing machine. Cam knew Kang wanted to be on his own and wanted to do things around the house. He could see why Mario couldn't get his future father-in-law here fast enough.

Thankfully, there was Bren's extended family and they took to Kang right away. Liv's mother was always bringing food as if she wanted Kang to move in with them if things didn't work out at Cam's. 

"Well, I would have never known my Bren if it hadn't been for her," Kang said about Trish. "She was a godsend in my book."

Cam listened with a smile. He'd never been in that kind of situation. Sure he moved from one relationship to another. Perhaps he was no better, but there was always child support put in place and maybe that's why he'd gone into the offshore drilling like he did. But Trish and her husband Nate became a lifeline for Kang when it came to watching Bren grow up. Of course, it was a big secret he still hadn't explained to either of his children. 

Cam understood how Mario could find this all so maddening, but he told him all was calm now. He had nothing to worry about.

Cam was thankful when Trish showed up and Nate brought in some goodies, too. All for Kang as if they were here for him after all. 

Nate mentioned calf roping. "When's the last time you've been to one?" He drew a smile out of Kang.

"Why? It was the last time you roped. You done any bull riding?" He gave his old friend a pat on the back and told Cam how close this guy was to winning the nationals.

Trish shook her head, "Don't you dare get him started." She said she would disown him and Kang both if that happened. "He's too old and so are you."

Kang cracked up. "We're not old we're just well seasoned."

It wasn't long til Mario and Bren joined along with Tristan and his better half. 

Tristan said he'd tried to talk to Holden, but it didn't do much good. Of course, when the screen snapped open. Look who it was? Holden and his wife.
