"I just don't know," Jade thought she might be talking to herself, but Liv was there to listen. It wasn't Facetime, but she had a little time to herself in the bedroom while Ari was off with Justin to show him something at the hospital. She could be in the kitchen or even chilling in the living room, but she never knew when they might show up. Honestly, she felt like the odd girl out, lately.
"What don't you know about?" Liv did sound concerned, but she hated to bring those two up.
"Oh..well, Delia doesn't look like Delia anymore," Jade found herself saying as if she knew that sounded crazy, but it was true. "I swear after her thyroid thing she's like an unreal beauty."
"Oh, Jade," Liv laughed at her. "Stop being jealous."
"I'm not," Jade yelped. She knew Liv wouldn't believe her. "OK, I envy her. I do." She winced thinking no way could she say to Tristan's sister how she wished she could have been his choice, but she wasn't. And he was over it. Really. But sometimes, she did think how life would have been different. She made a face of disgust. She couldn't think how it might be if she wasn't with Ari. She did trust him. Maybe it was Justin she didn't trust.
"But, she's like a new Delia," Jade told her. "Really." She asked about Liv's situation. "Are you and Sunny getting along."
"Oh, she's not very Sunny," Liv laughed softly. "She's like a chance of bad weather everyday. A cold kid, too."
"I hope you and Woobin are OK." Jade did wish them the best. She wanted to stay positive.
"He's my man," Liv laughed. She said she was being silly, but it felt good to feel so silly with him.
"Have you guys-" Jade found herself not wanting to finish the sentence. Of course, sex was so limited these days. She knew her number one answer about Ari, but she kind of wanted to know if Liv and Woo were really a couple.
Liv laughed and laughed. Maybe it had happened. Jade knew Liv would not give any details.
"His feet or huge," Liv told her. Jade laughed.
"What are we talking about?" Jade shook with more laughter.
"I thought you wanted to know," Liv said.
Jade had a good cough of laughter. It was then she knew she had a tickle in her throat. How could she be coming down with something? She wasn't even around Ari all that much and he was a walking sanitizer lately.
"I just want to know if you are happy with him," Jade confided.
"I am," Liv promised. "I mean, its not like, you know with Rico. We, just want to wait. But I do like being around him. It feels right. He's there for me, and I want to be there for him too."
Jade listened to her words. It sounded so simple, but it was one of those things that took a lot of care too, and it felt as if Justin was just in the way now.
The important thing is she is happy, she is good, and this is everything ^^
