Had enough repeating

 

Justin didn't want to hear it. Naturally, Ari had all the advice. Of course, Justin wasn't staying with him and Jade. 

Eric and Derrick took him in that night Vada sent him packing. He didn't want to bother Ari and now he knew why with the lecture Ari gave him about goals and such as if he were his life coach.

"I knew it would happen," Ari said about Vada, "But if I told you, you wouldn't have listened."

Justin set mute at the kitchen nook at Eric and Derrick's with a cup of instant coffee. He could see Ari didn't think his instant cuppa was good enough. Justin did his best not to sigh too heavily but went on with his cup of coffee as if not to interrupt Ari and all his theories of how to succeed in life.

"You need to get your act together, bro," Ari was serious with the simple fact.

Justin was even lipped. He supposed Ari could see through him. Was he just a fake? What the hell was he? Of course, he was hurt by Vada's ego and how he wasn't good enough anymore. He thought the sex could save them. They'd always have that, but she hadn't been around in over a week. Oh, it was like a cold wall of steel had shut him down and there was no going back.

"I think there might be a room at Tristan and Delia's," Ari nodded.

"Yeah, that's what Eric said," Justin knew it was just temporary here, and it would be great to have his own room instead of the couch at Eric and Derrick's.

"You better wake up," Ari said. "You can't keep doing this shit or you might end up at a homeless shelter and the only Christmas present you get is a photo with Santa to send home to the 'rents. Is that the kind of life you want?"

Justin didn't like the sound of that. Ari finally sipped the warm coffee. It was as if it were the nice thing to do.
