She's a heartbreaker, she's a love taker

 The weekend was full of surprises. Chewy was certain it was all so foolish, but they went to the zoo and later had takeaway at the park, which led to an Easter Egg hunt they hadn't planned. But Daisy was in high gear and ended up sleeping all the way home and didn't even budge when they put her to bed.

"You think she's all right, don't you?" Chai asked.

"I think so." It was the first time Chewy had been this worried about her. Of course, they both watched her sleep as if to make sure she was OK. Finally, they went to the kitchen and had coffee, they were both beat. It was then he'd noticed the text of the invite to Woo's. He was certain it was Sunny's doing, but he knew it would be nice to have such a nice Easter meal. 

"I have to do something with your hair," Chewy said before he meant too.

"What's wrong with it?" It startled Chai.

"Oh, if you cleaned up right, I think you could get that bank job you've been noticing for a while now. You have enough of the skills on your resume."

"What are you trying to do to me?" He was being testy, but Chewy said he was only trying to help him.

He was certain of it now; the results were quite fetching. Even now, he got a good laugh about it, although he couldn't exactly expose it. But he could see Sunny and Louie were both impressed. Oh, it made him want to do the Happy Dance. Although he still needed Chai to get a better job. He couldn't be at that cafeteria forever. He deserved better.

Of course, Daisy was the star that day at the dinner. Everyone thought she was adorable. Naturally, he didn't see that coming. But he knew they were a family. He liked being in this trio, and he was going to do everything he could to make things better. And little by little, just maybe Chai was warming up to him in, ever so shy.
