Say what you're feeling and say it now

 

Woo was certain it would have been a day full of glitches when the baby arrived if it hadn't been for Nic and Felicity. Of course, Sunny and Louie were a big help, too.

At least, he arrived with Liv at the hospital and stayed with her. She didn't want anyone else there. He didn't tell Liv her parents spent the day in the waiting room because they both entered a whole new world. She could count on him, and it felt like they were a team, and always would be.

He thought of all the dramas he'd watched growing up. He feared he might lose his hair or some other torture from his pregnant wife. Liv wasn't like that. She was calm. He stayed calm. Yes, she was right, this was something they needed to do on their own. It was their family. 

The labor pains wore on for a while by late afternoon, the baby arrived. Still, she wasn't ready to see them.

He went down to them to say that she needed skin-to-skin time. Of course, Trish gave him a snide look as if that was just awful. But Liv's father told her she needed to settle down. "She might never want you to see the baby at this rate if you keep this up."

Sunny was there with food and drink, but Trish had had enough. However, Liv was just as stubborn. She wasn't ready for the world to see her after having a baby.

"I need time to clean up. I need it to just be us," she told him so he called Sunny to let them know they could come back tomorrow.

"TOMORROW." 

Woo couldn't help but laugh. You would have thought a concert had sold out. He promised her that Liv was all right. Of course, he had to make Liv promise that they could come see her and the baby the next day. It felt like a big negotiation of some kind. 

With that, Liv and Woo were left on their first night with their baby boy, who was a healthy weight. Liv said he looked just like her father.

"You think?" Woo grinned. He could only see Liv and maybe just a little of her mother. But then she looked at Woo, "You know he looks just like you."

Finally, they decided on Oliver. 

Liv smiled, "I'm sure I won't hear the end of this." There wasn't another Oliver in the family.
