There's a jungle in my head going wilder

"Are you sure everything is going OK with Woo's sister there?" Jade was happy to hear from her friend Liv. Jade was back home now, but she had the weekend off before she had to return to work.

"I guess. I don't know which is worse, when you know everything going on with your family or you know nothing." Liv didn't sound too down about it. She was letting Woo spend time with his sister and Sunny. After all, Liv had her hands full with baby Oliver.

"Don't try to pry," Jade told her it was best that she just let things be with her sister. "I might have tried too hard with that friend of hers, Jared. I mean, we're kind of friends. But I don't know. I think he thinks of us as kind of like family, but then again, maybe I was just too nice."

"Too nice?" Liv chuckled.

"Oh, I texted him some while I was on vacation. I was thinking it was you know, not going to be a real honeymoon at first," she winced hard, thinking Liv didn't need to hear that.

"Oh really?"

"Oh GOD, it was a honeymoon." She couldn't help but smile about it, but she would leave it at that. "Anyway, Jared did get a new job in maintenance at City." Jade knew she was forgetting something. "Oh, I did get a chance to have coffee with Dale..or Delia, while we were in Florida."

"Oh, how's that going for her. The long-distance thing with Tristan?"

"Well, it isn't. He thought they should break up." Jade told her.

"He did?" Liv sounded as if that was the last thing she ever imagined.

"I guess she's OK. She's really busy as a news anchor. Maybe it's for the best," Jade said.

"Probably, I just hope he's doing OK."

"Do you want me to do anything?"

"Oh God, no. You stay away from him."

It sounded like an alarm. Jade guessed she was right. Liv knew her brother better than she did.
