A part of me will always wonder why

"Do you think she'll really be here by the end of the week?" Sunny had never seen Jun acting so out of it.

"She can't come, she won't come." He mumbled as he got out a cup for a cup of coffee, but then forgot about it, so Sunny poured him a cup and got out the milk he liked.

"She sounded serious about being here," Sunny nodded. Actually, Rennie had spoken to her because Jun was evidently avoiding his phone, which at the time she didn't know. His friend sounded so concerned about him. Rennie was from Maryland, which Sunny hadn't a clue where that was, exactly, but Rennie had gotten an airplane ticket.

"How..how could she even..afford something like that! Just how!" Jun nervously danced about the kitchen.

"She likes you, she's always wanted to meet you," this much Sunny knew from their conversation.

"But, but we..we only know each other through-" he plopped down in the kitchen chair and picked up his cup of coffee as if he was ready to drink it, only he wasn't. "I don't even know what she looks like."

"Oh."

Sunny didn't know what else to say. "It's just a visit, you know, she had been saving up for this big gaming convention, but well, she wanted to see you instead."

"Yeah, I know." He sounded as if he would not be worth her trip.

Jun sighed heavily and shook his head, no. Finally, he almost took a sip of hot coffee, but put it down as if he'd better let it be.

"I want to see her," he put his hands over his eyes as if he might have a nervous breakdown. "I do. But what if it goes all wrong?"

Sunny seriously wondered if Jun needed to see a therapist. She thought he needed something to calm him down.
