the past and the present

 "OM MY GWAD," Dylan squealed like a fangirl. "She's such a little Maleficent with some Snow White wrapped into one."

"Who?" Caitlin squinted hard wondering what Dylan was going on about in the crowd of the park concert. She was chilled to the bone. Even the hot chocolate wasn't helping much so she dosed it with some vodka she'd brought in her bag.

"That girl! Who is she?" He wanted to know as they stood huddled grooving to the punk rock covers that went into some Rolling Stones favorites. 

"Oh, her?" Caitlin had to yell and was certain she'd be sick before the night was over. "That's Tori, our new roommate."

"You have a new roommate?" Dylan looked at her as if she never told him anything.

"It was an accident. I don't think Cori nor Megan like her, but you know, we had the room." Caitlin shrugged as she sipped the intoxicating concoction from her thermos.

"Why don't they like her?" He yelled back.

"Dunno," she shrugged. Honestly, she didn't care, but she didn't like Dylan excited about Tori either. She hugged his arm then as if they might be more than just friends.

Of course, that time Dylan took off his shirt when he got paint all over himself when they were decorating mugs, Caitlin almost had a spasm. Caitlin didn't want to see Hannah without a shirt, but it was all rather innocent and maybe she overreacted. Maybe that was the reason she had sex with Melvin that night. 

Caitlin remained even lipped thinking what a big mistake. 

"I want to meet her," Dylan blurted. Caitlin was in a pout. She really didn't want to see this happening.
