Where there is a will there is a way

 "Don't you think Sammie looks like you?" Pan said out of the blue and his mother looked at him as if he'd lost it.

"Don't you dare say that to Gabe!" She snapped. After all, Gabe and Sammie were coming to dinner and they were going to discuss a wedding. His mother went on to say that she knew Sammie was nothing like her. She was certain Sammie would be a better mother than she ever was.

"Do you think she's going to have a baby?" Pan winced as he bit into a carrot.

"Oh, that wouldn't be right," Wade told both of them who was checking on the roast in the oven. "They are marrying for love." His grin was a little lopsided and Pan smiled at him as if he was right.

"Sorry, I said anything," he sighed. "But..but I think she looks like you."

"He did not fall for his mother," Wade was of course with Pan's mother on this. "It was fate."

"Yes, it must have been fate. How else was he going to find you?" His mother reminded him how it all happened. Well over a year ago when Gabe to town and met Sammie who was working at Mel's pizzeria then. They'd hit it off, but her brother Mario was against it. True, it was a surprise that Pan found his twin brother, even under such crazy circumstances, thanks to Mario's other sister Caitlyn. 

Pan didn't want to think about that. It was best to think of the future and the wedding.

"You don't think it'll be anything big, do you?" Pan wondered if he would be his brother's best man.

"I think it'll be a backyard wedding at Cam's." Cam was Mario's father and a father figure to Sammie. 

This was all his mother knew. She said he wanted to help.

"We'll help to," Wade put his hand on Pan's shoulder. 

Pan looked at Wade. He hoped Wade knew what he was doing. Pan didn't know anything about weddings.
