When the call came, Randy stood there dumbfounded in the kitchen and gave Justin the phone who was washing dishes while Carmen was drying. Randy didn't say a word.
Justin smiled when he heard the news.
"You got a job, Randy!"
"A job?" He sounded nervous.
"Yes, a real job." Justin was practically shaking him with the news. Of course, Carmen and Justin both hugged him. Good Will had hired him full-time.
"What do I have to do?" He looked at them blankly.
"We've been over this," Justin sighed. "You can do this. You'll help at the Good Will near us."
"Oh."
Again, he sounded as if he might be going in for Open Heart Surgery.
"What about Cassie?" Randy looked at him blankly.
"You'll see Cassie," Justin told him. "She'll be happy that you're making money.
"Making money," he grinned.
About then Jared walked in and put his arm around Randy's neck. "Man, I wish I was working at Good Will."
Justin gave Jared a perturbed look, Jared was strangling the British out of his words lately, and he sounded like a hick. Justin wasn't sure who he was trying to impress.
"See," Justin grinned back at Jared, as if he'd just play along. Randy getting a job was a big deal. Now if only Jared would get one.
